Kenin King – Life Coach & Personal Trainer
Meet Kenin, your new Wellness Coach!
Kenin is a nationally accredited Health Coach through the institute for Integrative Nutrition, and has been walking alongside others on their wellness journeys since 2011. To her, health is more than just habits—it’s about finding balance, joy, and connection in every season of life.
In 2011, she opened Kai Vitality, a holistic wellness studio in Valparaiso where we offered one-on-one coaching, personal training, group fitness, and massage therapy. It was a space filled with warmth, community, and healing. After becoming a mom, she closed the studio to stay home with her daughter, but she continued working with clients from home, staying rooted in her passion for helping others feel their best.
Her journey has been anything but linear. She joined the military at just 17 and served proudly for eight years—an experience that shaped my strength and deep sense of purpose. In 2017, she began serving with the Valparaiso Police Department, where she worked until 2024. Her final year as a School Resource Officer at Victory Christian Academy reminded her how much she loves uplifting others, especially through care, trust, and meaningful connection.
Now, she is returning fully to my roots in wellness—with more passion and purpose than ever. She is currently training with Laura to expand her services and deepen my client support, while also studying Western Herbalism through the Berkeley Herbal Center, (graduating this July!). These next steps feel like a homecoming—bringing together years of experience, healing, and heart.
Outside of work, she is a proud mom, a soon-to-be wife (getting married in July!), and a devoted animal lover with two dogs and two cats. Life is full, a little wild, and beautifully grounded. If you’re looking for someone who will meet you with warmth, walk with you in your journey, and. help you feel empowered in your body and life—you’re in the right place.
